“I wanted to send you quick note with capital-G-Gratitude for your work on the course! The concepts you presented mixed with your guidance throughout were otherworldly… Amazing manual, I took great notes. Honestly, Dr. Dijamco’s monologues were FIRE, meaning, so good. And importantly, the humility in this course, this work… is refreshing… got so much out of this that I’ll take to myself, my family, and my patients. Wow.”

“Usually embryology is dry, boring and hard to follow, at this course Dr. Gaydos made it easy to follow and understand by telling the story of the embryo with interest and clinical relevance to the labs.”

The Sensing and Releasing Emotional Shock Part 1 clarified my thoughts that the osteopathic treatment starts when the patient walks in to your waiting room or talks to you by phone.

Since the heart field has the largest EM, this field is felt by the recipient no matter if he or she is cognizant of it.  The heart field resonates the thoughts and intentions of the practitioner.  This course emphasized why the practitioner must be grounded, balanced,  neutral and have respectful humility of this sacred interaction we call healing.

“It was a pleasure to take part 1 of the newly established classes by Dr. Arlene Dijamco and Dr. Jim Gaydos, the “Dig On Series”, which is an evolving work in progress.   They cover a lot of territory that took me personally years to understand and understand my experience. The work is important for its content, showing an expansive view of the potential of osteopathy, and gives an integrative overview often hard to discover.  As we move forward in our work and the changing of the guard to the next generation of teachers and students, I believe these courses will matter to a lot of osteopathic practitioners young and old…”

“Be Still and Know”

Written on Dr. William Garner Sutherland’s grave marker are the words “Be Still and Know.” All of osteopathy can be encompassed in those words.

Whether you are an seasoned osteopath with decades of experience or a medical student just embarking on your path, there is even more we can learn from the Stillness.

The Stillness can help you deepen your practice (and your life) at any moment on your journey.
